Other Leader Lady/AAP news:

I’m now 15 films from completing 1972

Since a bunch of the Leader Ladies on my list are from the 80s (the tube top Leader Ladies and the Movielab girls) I’m tempted to jump ahead to 1985 and alternate years until I have to finish this

Pouring my nervous energy into watching the leaders on the ephemeral films of 1967 and GODDAMN do all the Movielab Leader Ladies look irritated

They’re made of helmet hair and spite

“He had the blackest eyes. The Devil’s eyes.”

One of the strangest double features I ever did was this iconic film paired with Frogs (1972).

tonight's movie was a little bit of Bert I. Gordon cheepnis

"The Empire of the Ants" (1977)
based (loosely) on a story by H.G. Wells

eerily, the ants sound effect is very similar to the one in "THEM!"

Joan Collins actually got a Saturn nomination for this

I’d forgotten about this poster until now.
