I use an application called envision that sets up and launches the monado open source XR runtime all by itself, pretty plug and play so long as you install the drivers for the hardware first. It works perfectly just lacks some features like a virtual desktop but once you launch a game you're good.

Woke up at 4am again. VR is not working. Recompiled Monado, might have made things worse. Might be one of the connected hardware because keyboard/gamepad inputs aren't properly registering.

2/2 It might have been a weird artifact of trying to close VR chat from within WiVRn while wearing the headset, since WiVRn extends monado and does a lot of stuff that steamvr would do like launching PCVR apps

my dream Monado Warriors is set post-FR & has characters from XB1, FC, 2, Torna, 3 & FR, but also involves universe hopping w/some XBX characters. KOS-MOS is there but also Abel & Neph are there as a way of getting Fei & Elly in. the mc would be the same one as XDE & could import your save data lol.

Xenoblade 3 having more overt japanese cultural influence is really interesting since one of the first things I said when I streamed the first game is "hey it's weird that that's like real ass kanji in the middle of the monado"
