Walmart used to fill my medication so they have a record of some of the prescriptions.They know I take Lupus medication.They know I take mobic & Flexeril & they are aware that I have cancer because of the methotrexate I filled with them.Funny thing is every pharmacy I called in town turned me down.

Letter from surgeon said stop Mobic (for my inflammatory arthritis) week before spinal fusion surgery.
Okay, I thought, my fingers/toes are going to be achey for a week or so.
Turns out won't be able to have any NSAIDs for 3-6 months after surgery as can interfere with fusion healing...
Shit.

The vet is really happy with how Smudge is doing ☺️ He showed no signs of pain, so we can take him off the Mobic and reduce his gabapentin :)

Finally got pain meds after 12/13 weeks of my entire right arm, shoulder and collarbone being swollen and in pain.
But I'm a little frightened of new meds 🥺 so I'm curious:

Have you tried an NSAID? I've been on one for ages for my arthritis.
Mobic is cheap and works well if you have a doctor who can prescribe it for you.

Yeowch sorry about your knee. I've done my meniscus twice (on the cheese grater boardwalk stuff not cobblestones) and it's no fun! Mobic if you can get it. Ice. Surgery v good depending on the kind of tear. Good luck!

Not one ER physician suggested it was the Mobic. #ChatGPT did, though. 🤖

I may be going to the orthopedic urgent care tomorrow… my pain has now caused me to almost completely stop using my dominant arm. (My left arm)… moving my neck, arm, or shoulder causes extreme pain. Mobic (an NSAID) didn’t touch the pain yesterday. So no cleaning today, even tho I NEED it. 😩

I take a trifecta of 15mg Mobic, 500mg Tylenol, & a baby aspirin. It usually works. I used to take sumatriptan, but I started having a side effect I don't want to get into, & I stopped taking it.

I take it three times a day and it “helps” but only so much. That and a daily mobic until it gets bad enough for surgery.
