Literally yesterday I completed a boxy little Mini-ITX build running Fedora KDE Plasma in an attempt to drive my Valve Index from the living room. I feel as though I have summoned this news via ritual.
I believe in interviews Valve is pricing based on PC hardware, not console hardware.
I thought the speculation would be around the $700-$800 range, which is what you'd expect to pay to build the mini ITX yourself.
It's advantage will be the lack of Windows licensing fees for one.

Ohhhh the choices ahhhh tho I've seen more info on builds for fractal and so few for thermal, so I have a better idea of what works for that.

PCを新調してから5年半。
途中でケースとマザーボードをM-ATXサイズに変えたりはしたが、性能の大部分を占めるCPUとグラボは変えていない。
CPUはi9-9900K、グラボはRTX-2080 Super。
正直なんにも不自由なく今までやってきている。エスコン7もSEKIROもAC6も快適にやれたし、たぶん今後も困らないだろう。
けど、ケースをmini-ITXに変えたい気持ちがずーっと燻っている。
となるとマザボも変えなきゃだが、9900K対応のITXマザボなんてもはや希少種、結構なプレミア価格。
だったら一式買い替えようぜ、ってなるんだが……そうすると一気に10万コースなんだよね……

J'ai à peu près fini de me monter un nouveau PC mini-ITX, dans un boîtier NR200 de chez Cooler Master et c'est vraiment un délice de modularité.
D'habitude faut être un poulpe pour monter ce genre de format, et... là aussi, évidemment, mais tout est pensé pour que ce soit le moins pire possible.

Mini ITXのマザーって、こんな高かったっけって思うくらい高くて驚いた。Fractal Design Define Nano SにB550つかっているけど、買い換えになったら、ケースごと買い換えのほうがよさそう。
