finding out it's not just me, someone else i know had a real bad interview experience at the 3000 microservices bank, they got accused of being a chatbot

i only got told "i did not have enough experience" by someone in their first job out of university

they're still hiring lol

Is this not the lesson we all learn from containerizing our applications on cloud services? Such is the cost of launching a suite of 100,000 microservices.

i think we will need microservices at some point in time but my hope is they won't be essential to the main service and that the main service can run without them

I would say go for #theHive pattern, it would help you to iterate at a cheaper cost while allowing you to go for a microservices version at any time if needed.

Here the rationale @julientopcu.com and I have made:

For my DuckDB Data Warehouse series, I have done most of the code (It will have microservices, data streaming, orchestrating with Airflow), I've covered the batch part

The streaming part won't take me too long but, I'll write this weekend the first part of the series (long article BTW)
