I'm afraid my interest in history is the transition from the mesolithic to the neolithic, especially what happened to all the forager/hunters in Europe.
Although I do follow the building in period of 13th century Guédelon in Bourgogne. How they found out how to "glaze" the windows is fascinating.

Hey artists, quote with your woman art 🌬️

A character from Ogmos (my fantasy world). She's a chieftain of a tribe inspired by Mesolithic hunters-gatherers (among other things). I have yet to give her a name and a proper story tho

Hurrah! Hope you had a fantastic night.
My undergrad dissertation was on the Mesolithic; like a massive overachiever I did lithic analysis, testpitting... and an aerial survey 😅

Learned so much about the Stone Age last night with mini-volcanologist at this great event with @gregjenner.bsky.social and Prof Nicky Milner. I know nothing about our local Starr Carr Mesolithic site. So cool.

Whoop. Look forward. How did it go? Did the Mesolithic win? Pic of my peat bog here if ever we get the chance. All best.

I had a lovely night of being enthusiastically convinced by Nicky Milner of the greatness of the Mesolithic!

Watching @uoyarchaeology.bsky.social’s Nicky Milner try to convince @gregjenner.bsky.social that the British Mesolithic is interesting and important 😆

3c. The Crop Circle observes Golden Ball Hill. In 1997 archaeologists uncovered the buried remains of floors, made of rounded flints, at Golden Ball Hill, UK. The floors are thought to have been laid down by Mesolithic people around 6,500 BC.

Need another November movie? Were you a fan of Poor Things, but wish it was much quieter? YOU WON’T BE ALONE might be for you! A Mesolithic period piece (literally and figuratively) about a young witch learning to navigate the world by hopping bodies. Lush nature setting, thoughtful, poetic

Really got to stop enjoying listening to my own voice on this, but one more thought: it seems to me there's a mesolithic glass-floor taxon between these, a hegemony of AP shows only casting people who're already popular streamers / professionals with a following, often the same people across shows.
It seems to me, though absolutely no one asked or cares what I think, that it is essential to understand and contemplate the difference between actual play streaming and actual play shows.
New from TTRPG Insider: One of those questions I've been asking myself is about how 'big' Actual Play content can get. There are a lot of folks who are really excited to create in this space. But are there too many shows already? www.ttrpginsider.news/p/are-there-...

Good chance boar were brought to Ireland by people in the Mesolithic, but there's better things to do with a pig than coddle.

Just read a really interesting paper on massive feasts at Newgrange c.2500BC, where everyone was eating pigs that had been specially fattened on nuts to be extra tasty.
