Elle Fanning tells us how she learned to speak Yautja for her role in ‘PREDATOR: BADLANDS’

“For me, it was the challenge of also memorizing [Dek’s lines] to an extent because he would be speaking in Yautja then I would have to respond in English.”

Witch Tip: If you can, try to gain some theater experience! Memorizing and performing a ritual is very similar to memorizing and performing a skit; if you can train yourself to do the latter, the former becomes so much easier!

Memorizing every little detail he can, which he'll surely forget in the morning.

"Not like I really need it… Just like the familiarity of it, y'know?" He shrugs. "Don't quite mind lettin' you see, though…"

The alcohol is making him loose, but he still feels a bit exposed.

I need to draw Rad and Reyna fighting in like goofy Sonic vs Eggman type scenarios again. Rad being cocky and joking about memorizing her attack patterns and that she should really use bullets instead of huge slow moving energy balls

Hypnovember 7: Eyes

Kissing your partner, only for them to flash hypnotic spirals in their eyes

You playfully try to protest, but soon your mind caves to their sweet control

Their eyes are just so deep, so wonderful

You can and have spent hours memorizing their every detail

And now, your theirs

Dr. Stone alternate version where he dooms humanity because instead of memorizing Wikipedia, he spent all his time talking to chatgpt and getting incorrect info

This is wonderful. I loved that one of his links goes to Pitchbot. And this:

“bovine noises of studious grey-lady impartiality, with the labor of anything resembling “appraisal” surgically excised.”

It’s a description worth memorizing for future use.

Many parents think kids develop strong social skills from memorizing phrases like “please” and “thank you.”

But the real foundation comes from an environment where emotional safety and authentic connection are modeled.

Here are nine things that parents of the most socially adept kids do early.
I've studied over 200 kids—the ones with 'exceptional' social skills have parents who do 9 things early on
Want your kids to be emotionally intelligent with good people skills? Child psychologist Reem Raouda has studied more than 200 child-parent relationships. Based on her research, she's identified the nine things successful parents do to raise kids with strong social skills.

Fun facts about my as a vocalist:

- I have a lyric memorizing super power/curse. I know so many lyrics to songs that I don't even know what they are.

- I have always loved to sing. I did not get the opportunity to participate in anything like that as a kid.

Some days the only thing you accomplish is memorizing the "please hold" music.

Proud GenX-er!

In 7th grade, my friend and I spent lots of time memorizing the words. Happy to report at age 51, I still know all of the words!

I am genuinely grateful for @dndbeyond.bsky.social 's "virtual tabletop" tools - they took away so much of the burden of memorizing rules and crunching numbers so that I could focus on painting a picture and helping my players feel immersed in their little adventure.

For me it is Souls likes. I see the appeal, but spending so much time memorizing patterns, and being punished when I die, it becomes a slog personally

Bethesda is more like an abusive relationship with me, I see the issues but keep coming back happily.

I just don't get why people get so pissed off

I think most if not all of it is still unscripted in the sense that you’re not memorizing lines. The judges would also accept “unstructured” or similar.

My kiddo has memorized the entirety of REMEDIAL CHAOS THEORY, the Community ep that first introduced timelines. That this one is her favorite to the point of memorizing it kills me.

Reminds me of Bart Simpson for how he puts more effort into memorizing the filled-in answer sheets for tests than actually studying for tests.
The disconnected Apple Pencil? The expression sheet with all the same expression? The art with the footsteps in the snow in front of the characters running? The file with one (1) background layer? Erasing the “hand drawn” background by hand on said one (1) layer file? Where do I starttttttt
They did! It’s amazing (derogatory)

There were a couple of weeks during lockdown where actors started talking about how they should get paid for the time spent memorizing lines. They were serious. I wonder how they are all doing.
