After watching Do The Right Thing I felt conflicted in the ending as I do get each sides of the conflict. But it didn’t solve the problems end up unresolvable. The way the heat was portrayed as big rising moments and tension in the movie makes sure it is not just a hot today.

After watching "Do The Right Thing," I felt disappointed but not surprised because the reality is that when people speak up about something that isn't right there isn't an instant change. You have to repeat it again and again before you see some real change.

In "Do the Right Thing", I was pretty frustrated after seeing that after the riot. The conflict between the community completely washed over without any explanation. It's an uncomfortable truth that everything just suddenly goes back to normal after so much hostility. #Media180LabMonday1030M

After watching, "Do the Right Thing" I felt confused and irritated. The way it ended was very unsatisfying yet realistic because there was no proper justice at the end of all the conflict. The use of lighting creates an intense atmosphere along with the heat of the day.

Do the right thing was filled with good scenes and movie direction. Characters faced difficult situations, did what they felt was right, and face the reality of their conflicts without resolution having to move on with their lives after. Frustrating but eye opening to see.

After watching Do The Right Thing, I felt confusion with how it ended but the cinematic techniques they used through the movie like the orange filter they used to show it was hot outside and then it kind of going away during the kids playing in the water shows they cooled off

After watching "Do the Right Thing", I felt anger and tense because racial boundaries were being pushed and not respected. Ways that the film portrayed this was the heat atmosphere. It adds on to the racial tension and can set off that tension since heat makes people angsty.

After watching Do the Right Thing, I was very irritated. The choices characters made and the stories ending was left without any justice for Raheem. I noticed that the lighting helped depict the emotion/mood for the specific scene.

After watching Do the Right Thing, I was frustrated. Everything was left unsolved, and there was no justice. The lighting reflected emotions and what was happening. For example, the lighting is dim when Sal confronts Radio Raheem. This added suspense and depth.

My immediate emotional response was anger and sadness. In the end, both parties were negatively affected leaving the viewer wondering who actually did the right thing. The emphasis on the weather through camera angles and lighting shows how heat contributed to the results.

I felt anger and frustration. Spike Lee’s use of tight close-ups, especially during confrontations, intensifies emotional tension. For instance, the low-angle shots of Radio Raheem during his final moments emphasize his power and vulnerability, heightening the impact. #Media180LabMonday1030M

After watching Do the Right Thing,I felt a mix of anger and sadness because of how it shows racial tensions. The usage of close up camera shots and the editing creates a heated atmosphere, as the music makes the mood of the film feel more intense and rebellious.

My immediate response to "Do the Right Thing" was frustration. Spike Lee’s use of warm, saturated colors and close-ups conveyed tension. The oppressive heat, combined with #editing heightened the sense of urgency and anger, amplifying the film’s emotional impact. #Media180LabMonday1030M

I felt frustrated, the director used warm colors to enhance the atmosphere of angry emotions and chaos. The director also uses the shaky feeling of the camera and utilizes changes in tempo to convey mood swings and immerse the audience in a tense atmosphere.

After watching, I felt anger and sadness. The scorching sunlight and warm lighting symbolize the characters’ growing anger. I am also sad by Raheem’s death and ongoing racial conflicts causing loss of life. #Media180LabMonday1030M

I felt shocked during the zoom-in on Raheem's dangling feet, emphasizing his death wasn’t accidental. The end scene spanned out to kids playing ball & 'regular' life resuming--this left me feeling helpless & sad as it conveyed acceptance of such events as routine/the norm. #Media180LabMonday1030M

After watching it I felt anger and frustration. It shows the emotional conflicts through the lens. The music enhances the tense atmosphere of the picture, and the strong rhythm is closely combined with the development of the plot, which promotes the development of the film.

The ending of Do the Right Thing leaves the viewer as it leaves the characters: they must be faced with the reality of moving forward. The movie uses its individual characters as a way to represent wider views in society and their reactions after a tragedy. #Media180LabMonday1030M

I felt unhappy and frustrated after watching Do the Right Thing (1989). Tension was created by the close-ups, lighting, and "Fight the Power". Everything seemed violent and uneasy because of the riot's fast editing. I couldn't look away. The scene seemed too real.

Watching Do the Right Thing filled me with a sense of sadness due to the racial tension init. There’s a scene where characters yell racist stereotypes at the camera as it zooms in. The zoom of the cam emphasizes the intensity of racial tension, and sadly it’s still prevalent. #Media180LabMonday1030M

In this ad, we can see that the musical Annie is being advertised. I was doing a crossword when this ad popped up. It states the ticket prices (which are cheap), the dates, and the location. In the lecture, we discussed how advertisements are everywhere and in any form.

This advertisement is an example of irritation advertising, because the personification of mucus is supposed to be gross and annoying to viewers, which makes it a more memorable advertisement even if its not remembered in a positive way.
