Spending the weekend going through my photos from Manchester last week and starting to work up some stuff including these from @McrMuseum (some from specimens, some from fab old diagrams on display.

These portraits of Egyptian dead at @McrMuseum always astonish me. I remember being taught in art class at school that such work didn’t really exist until the Renaissance. Clearly we so often shape our history into such narrow viewpoints.

Pleased to say we’ve released at our second glow-worm site within our very own wilding area at Coombeshead, releasing over 600 larvae of local origin. Thanks to @McrMuseum and @WildwoodDevon for their assistance since joining the programme....
