Pokemon: Don't breathe wrong or kecleons will kill you.

Digimon: If you buy/help enough, the shopkeep may join your party!

Pals: They're friendly as long as you don't hit them.
A kecleon shop opened up during a dungeon in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. They may appear randomly (more likely in longer dungeons), and the kecleon that appears will have a different assortment of items laid out on a mat. It's infamously known that you must be very careful to make sure to pay the kecleon their dues, and be sure to have the money to do so, as if you attempt to leave their shop zone without paying (accidentally or otherwise), ate up products you couldn't afford (such as apples or seeds), or you take items and then warp away from the map zone otherwise, this will cause the shop kecleon to call for help, proclaiming you a thief. The resulting kecleons - contrary to the main line games - are among the strongest pokemon in the entire game, even stronger than late stage final bosses, and it is incredibly easy to be one-hit killed by one, much less the multitudes that show up. They also start with a net negative base friendship, requiring you to stack tons of friendship buffing items to recruit, at which point the highest possible base friendship is usually 1%. The Monochromon shop, featured in Digimon World, which is a functional shop, but also a mini-game you can play, where the player can assist Monochromon as a substitute clerk, filing in different requests of different digimon who visit, while also bargaining with them on a price both of you can agree on. If you do this minigame enough times, Monochromon becomes an available digimon you can have. A screenshot from Palworld where a Black Marketeer (one of many storekeeper esque NPCs) had set up camp within a cave, whom the player is facing. While other storekeepers deal in items or other goods, the Black Marketeer is not only the most intimidating-looking storekeeper of them (and is also armed with a gattling gun if you provoke them into attacking you), but also deals in buying and selling pals with the player.

I got burnt out by the commission artist rat race of being everywhere, and always talking to people with this customer service mindset as I didn't know who would be my next meal ticket and got burnt by letting terrible people get close to me. It took a long time to kill the marketeer in my head.

Nee die hebben budget voor zichzelf. Ze doen dat in de praktijk ook niet echt. Als je meedoet als GL-PvdA kun je op alle posters zetten: stem voor provincie en waterschap GL-PvdA. Iedere marketeer kan je vertellen dat dat prima gaat werken.

Like, ask any experienced social media marketeer - we have been through this many times. Facebook, Pinterest, Vine... channels come and go, they rise in popularity with specific audiences and fade with others (video game folks should have their eyes on Tumblr again, wild!).

Absolutely it's been misinterpreted the US free marketeer cult loves to consistently leave out the fact that without transparency and honesty the free market doesn't work. And we have tons of examples of free market failures. All you have to do is go to recalls.gov to see how bad it is.
