Some better shots of the Marasai. Quite pleased with it, learned a lot, which was the objective. Getting better with the airbrush, which will help with pre-shading next time, and will sand down any parts that will be snug around joint pieces so the paint doesn't chip when it moves. #Gunpla #Gundam

Still have to do detailing, weathering, and some battle damage, but base coats and panel lining are done!
I couldn't decide whether to paint it proper colors or classic Zaku colors, so it's going to be like the arm and leg have been replaced with parts from another damaged mobile suit

There's the RE/100 Dijeh, MG Mk-II 2.0 (AEUG and Titans), MG Hizack, MG Marasai, MG Qubeley, MG The-O (got a recent reprint but it's a pain in the ass to find still), MG Nemo, MG Rick Dias (grey and red) and the MG Super Gundam (based on the really old 1.0 MG).

Regular version or custom? Custom I like. Take the existing Zaku design tropes and applies them to beefy ZZ standards.
Regular version's body just doesn't fit for me.
Of course I'm biased because the Marasai is, for my money, the PERFECT Zaku derived suit.

As I understand it, Okawara designed the Bloodsucker to be the Marasai to the Scopedog’s Zaku.

HG Marasai!
A sneaky favorite mono-eye grunt of mine, this kit was a delight of an older HG!
Some very neat construction on it, and it's got some pretty nice range of motion too!
Would definitely recommend it as a cheap little project kit
