He can't help it, he tried. He tried to copy the mannerism of the people around him, he took to carefully choosing his words and, when that didn't suffice, he started speaking less. He washes meticolously, combs his hair and makes sure his clothing is as clean as it can be. None of that works.

Absolutely. I’m currently watching the Aileen documentary on Netflix and the way Charlize had her every movement and mannerism and speech pattern down. Yeesh.
Charlize Theron really did deserve all the flowers for Monster

tone unlike Luther's at all, slight and almost a sing-song, a tinge if European accent in there from years with Alfred and living abroad.

His mannerism are kind, and as soon as he hits the light, his features are too.

"Can I help you?"

Dude I’d love to make a planet of the apes inspired fantasy thing one day that borrows from real apes and combines anthropomorphic mannerism
Basically fantasy furries
but with apes

Red reflected light became a mannerism in Baroque painting. See Rubens.

Illustrator Barron Storey once told our class that in his art school days he thought it was cool, and was dotting red here & there in shadows -- and the instructor grabbed his wrist and stopped him. Said nothing.

Regardless of who is still performing, or if they are even alive, Yardbirds/Beatles/Stones skyrocket finale lit up the sky with Jimmy Page’s “Rock and Roll”. After that it was something different. Renaissance hands off to Mannerism in 15 years.

Indifference to approval for what, Mark?

What was it that he did that The Left didn't approve of, Mark>?

Was it some kind of amusing little pecadillo? Some quirky little mannerism? Nothing serious? Oh do tell, Mark!

NSFW artists be like:

I love this character. I analyze thier behaviors, mannerism and way of speaking. I wonder frequently about thier hopes and dreams and fears. I love thier design. I love thier lore. I must express this in the purest most passionate way I can think of.

Draw them wankin' it.

ᅠhis mannerism, the way of speaking, subtle gestures — he knew how to use his charm. she wasn't innocent one herself, from the perfumes to the heels, she wanted to have his attention. in a crowded room, she looked for him.

taking a sip from the sacred glass, she couldn't help but chuckle. +

IIRC the West Marches finished/dried up before this piece finished, but it is the basis for his more current design. This is among my favorite commissions ever with how well utilized the aarakocra features are used for bard energy.

It's certainly reasonable to suggest that the line between High Renaissance & Mannerism isn't always clear. But the kind of art produced in the 1510s is just different from that of the 1570s. A change happened, & ignoring that by making an ever-wider tent called "High Renaissance" just looks silly.

Finishing "High Renaissance." Michael Levey, who I loved in "Early Renaissance," peppers this one with untranslated passages in French, Latin, Italian, German. He makes in-jokes about obscure 19th C art historians. He undermines his Mannerism author-colleague. He shows off & just looks like a dick.

Perhaps it was part of his constant mannerism, but one could swear that the knight was putting the extra effort to make that urge hard to beat - pants tight, shirt barely closed with buttons fighting for dear life leaving little to the imagination.

“ told you. “

ᅠ𝟐𝑩 looked at the male in awe, trying to understand his mannerism. she might have heard of gentlemanly behaviour before but never truly experienced once. the corner of her lips raised, eyes shifted to the side.

“ if they told me how the Cavalry Captain looked like, it'd be much easier. ” +
“ Lady luck blesses the beauties. “

The Knight commented with his lips still curled into that cock, confident expression, as if he was enjoying their little conversation more than his eye dared to show. Despite the luck of proper reference it was clear that his sentence was a compliment for the (…)
ᅠ𝟐𝑩 decided to share some of her plans to the other.

” 𝓘'm looking for Grandmaster Varka, 𝓘 was told he resides in one of these buildings. 𝓘 was td Cavalry Captain would be able to help, do you know any of them — 𖤠 “

lucky she it seems.

ah. i'm not sure if you have. but yes, dinner does not have to be today.

[he nodded, soon crouching beside her. tail flicking to-and-fro. slightly worried about the sudden change in mannerism.]

have i done something to concern you? you seem focused on something else.

[careful caress of her face.]
Mods. More canvas, like I described it as. I could go with arms, wings, or even just expanding my chassis. They're all R3ALLY ambitious though, so. . . Hmm. ( ̄~ ̄)

[ Veeronica looked to Dusekkar, blinking twice. ]

Could we rain check that date?

another set of arms could do you well.

[he obliged though, setting her down and backing away to give her space. tilting his head slightly, curious as to what she needed to do!]

sit and think?

[he echoed, interested.]

about what, exactly?

He has a mannerism that he does where he flicks his hands back, almost as if he’s reaching for the edge of his cuff absentmindedly. I assume that’s what he’s doing here.

Wisdom is not counted in grammers, niether in fluency, but vividly shown in mannerism.
