The cover of Amazing Adventures issue 2 from 1950. A great atmospheric cover, a good font, Allen Anderson a good artist and it tells a bit of a story. It also reminds you of the pulp covers of the 30s.

A cover from the humor magazine "Judge", from February 1927, that is the Cat's Pajamas, with art by Dealton Valentine. An attractive woman, in a soaking wet dress, from an apparent unfortunate experience with a canoe. The magazine ran from 1881-1947.
