Instead of a #10K with 25,000 other people in downtown #SanJose, the Wife and I opted for a #Hike on the #LosGatosCreekTrail adjacent to our home. A crisp 55F but sunny, so Nice! Fall colors come late to the #SFBayArea, but they are here now 🌲🪾🤙

Day off from Work today (Thank you #Veterans for #FightingForDemocracy), I got out on the trails today 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃🏞 started at #LosGatosHigh, ran a loop that goes up the #LosGatosCreekTrail to the Dam, then back via the old Jones Road. 4.6 miles, 538' elevation gain.

You can add unlimited mileage to this Run On the LGTrail. Dam in the distance. The approach. If you enlarge this you can see a Trail that goes up across the face of the Dam. I call this Fall Season Running cuz its different than the other Seasons. I'm wearing my Spartan shirt for inspiration 🌝🏃 Only 1/3 of Lake is visible. Water low, waiting on Rain.

Sunday morning Run on the #LosGatosCreekTrail for 6.6 miles. Getting out further now without too much foot pain. I have changed the way I do Calf exercises, altered my running technique to a more midsole foot strike, and run on dirt not pavement when I can. 🙂🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🤙

Only had time for short #Run tonight so went north on #LosGatosCreekTrail to its end at Merdian Ave in #SanJose. 3.3 miles out and back. Can't be extended yet due to #Geography. If I went south like usual, I can run to #Infinity (2nd map) 🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
