So three layers of shitty government, with worse choices waiting in the wings.

Memo: Tried the trend effect
(CSP)
1. Merge all layers, duplicate it
2. Add a new layer, color it orange and set it to Brightness
3. Merge 1 and 2, then set it to the blending mode you like and change opacity (overlay, hard light etc)
The first one is an overlay, the second one is hard light

What I mean by "not how I'm supposed to do it" is that I watched multiple tutorials that offered different ways to make the workflow WAY faster—but I couldn't make any of them work for me. So I ended up just doing everything "the long way," which is a frankly terrifying amount of layers.

off. I think about swimming but realize I can't swim that long/it's colder so we have layers on. I start thinking about who to text to see if they have a free boat/dinghy/etc. Then I'm in a house, watching Dad collect his things because he's driving out to get us (wtf?!)

The Star Wars prequels. I'm not a huge fan and entire layers of it are as rubbish as everyone says, but if you wanted a resource to teach kids beat for beat about how authoritarianism creeps in (including largely useless power figures on the left), it's pretty much all there.

It’s def something you can make on your own with a lil research! You need materials for the layers like rocks and moss to give the roots space and a plant suitable for a closed jar terrarium. I’m sure there are bajillions of guides. Good luck and share pics if you start one!

Reading this, I did think about asking some AI engine to generate an image of Jacques Rancière donning Joker makeup, but the layers of cynical irony would have been suffocating
The artist, who said similar stunts he had carried out at Bristol Museum and Tate Modern were not "approved, sanctioned, or acknowledged", denied it was vandalism.
"The work isn't about disruption. It's about participation without permission," he said.

Full steam ahead for NHS bonfire of bureaucrats as Streeting finds £1billion for redundancy payments
The NHS bonfire of bureaucrats was finally ignited today after Wes Streeting unlocked the £1billion needed to fund 18,000 redundancies. The health secretary will use the money to axe layers of management across NHS England, the Department of Health and Social Care and local care boards. Sir Keir Starmer announced in March that he would shut down NHS England - the ‘world’s largest quango’ - as it duplicates work done elsewhere.

Harder than what? The question I answered - which you've neatly obfuscated with layers of quote tweeting - was "Do you have any reasons more recent than 7 years ago?" and because I provided one you seem to be throwing a weird tantrum.

"The innocent children were buried seven or eight layers deep,
The sight was heart-rending and enough to make one weep;
It was a most affecting spectacle and frightful to behold
The corpse of a little boy not above four years old,"
