i was using lapce for a while a little bit ago and theres some good core in it but its still quite early days and isnt moving that fast + a bit much of their attention has been going to their online code solution instead of the editor itself and it just ... yea

Actually after googling around some more I found Lapce which has a similar ui, but written in rust and is open source etc. No ai features or bloat and seems to have LSP support built in.

Jest tak. Lucinda/Krevetka do nas vpadła vczoraj. Nastolat uradovan. Matkooo! Żarcie Davaj! No i teraz Nastolat vymyšliłbył, że bendziemy mieli 1,5 Kota na stanie… aha najlepsze, że Lucinda v okno zadrapała… I jak Nastolat na łapce dał Jej parem chrupek to podeszła, poobcierała siem i pożarła..

VSCode + C# for me was pretty terrible, so that's good hahaha I'll check it out
SO many people suggest Rider, but Subscription models are pain and suffering.
The only other one I've been looking at it Lapce but it's too new and lacks a bunch of features/plugins so I'm keeping an eye on it.

SO many people suggest Rider, but Subscription models are pain and suffering.

There was another worth checking out recently called 'Lapce' I've been checking it out. I think Lapce is much more minimal but something to check out. I don't actually know much about Zed but Lapce I think was aiming for like a VSCode layout which was easy for me to jump in and get started.

This all kind of sounds like something for which you'd either want something emmet-esque, or a full blown language server… 🤔 only thing I could think of that'd also support using it in a web browser (kinda, via the Lapdev self-hosting code) would be Lapce (github.com/Lapce/Lapce) (well, or vscode 😂)
