The Tree Swallows this year at Betz were something else. There were tons of them around. I just love watching these fast flyers it makes getting a shot difficult though.

I always get the biggest smile on my face when I see a Northern Flicker. Such a beautiful bird. Sometimes I get close to them at Lake Betz.

We had lots of Tree Swallows this year at Betz this is a close as I was able to get to one. Maybe 10 feet away. Such a beauty.

"That time I saw a Tri-Colored Heron at Betz". This was the first and only time so far I have seen one of these beauties at Lake Betz. It was off course for some reason but I am so glad it was.

I was lucky enough to see both a male and female Blue Grosbeak catch Dragonflies and bring them to their young. Here is the male. So beautiful.
