#labanotation
Totally intentional~
For some individuals with lactose intolerance, they need to do l10n (localisation) on the l10n (lactoprotein) on the recipe. Next secret is a regular training by the special method of exercise, handed down by the form of secret l10n (labanotation) 🤪🤪🤪🤪

The best I can figure, the animation was accomplished using an in-house scripting language based on a century's old method of dance notation called Labanotation.

Any which way, it's still remarkable. An artifact from a different time, of people swinging for the stars.

How would "l10s" supposed to be interpreted if you are not "on the field"? Labanotation? Labyrinthian? Lachrymation? Laterisation? Latinisation? Lactoprotein?

Guess I'll be calling milk-protein "l10s" from now on /s

Full "translation": The labyrinthian corridors of the library held the key to lactoprotein localization, documented in a Labanotation with Latinization for future generations, though deciphering it caused lachrymation due to its sheer complexity.

Thank you! There was also a discussion of Labanotation in Nelson Goodman’s _Languages of Art_.

Tonight is for #choreography which cannot be expressed in #labanotation … you will find me on the front lines. Tomorrow. Ready.

Imagining the sinuous labanotation diagrammed in long, fold out pages! Those intricate dance steps might be a clue to navigating certain Traps! You should see the ones the Mongoosefolk have!

At U of Oregon in the early '70s the dance dept was teaching student Labanotation. I was one of the instrumental accompanists and we used a linked notation system. The result was something like a symphonic score with instruments and dancers joined on a staff line.

The dance can be read 5 ways. If you read Labanotation you will notice that instead of a dancer holding a hand or shoulder, sometimes the dancer is holding the womb and other parts of the anatomy to symbolise the female form.

The animation I believe to have been produced using a unique, and probably lost, scripting language based on a method of dance notation called Labanotation. Rad!

And the "skinning" is an illusion. It's a shiny segmented body, and the reflection hides the segments. Hard to see on broadcast TV.

The general case includes a lot of knowledge regarding textile skills, athletics, choreology etc. that are very inefficient to try to linearize

Even in cases where you can finagle lossless compression (knitting patterns, Labanotation) it’s hard to learn the decompression algo w/o knowing the skills

Thank you 😍 one step at a time. Or, as the labanotation on my ankle indicates - keep walking forward.

When my wife was doing her MA in Modern Dance at UofMich, Ann Hutchinson Guest came and reset Afternoon of a Faun using her Labanotation translation of Nijinsky's notes. My wife was chief nymph. We heard great stories of Labanotation pioneers she had known. Is this article available to non-members?
