This is the sort of thing I think of as the 'opportunity cost' of automation, and it holds not just for creative stuff but for everything. I've talked before about how a lot of my most appreciated work in support is when I am doing stuff that is beyond the scope of a bot searching a knowledgebase.
Interviewed an audio director recently who told me how an *iconic* character catchphrase came from the voice actor improvising in the booth.

Using AI voices robs you of the chance for spontaneous, funny, ad-libbed performances that could help define your game.
If your game has voice acting, then working with the voice actors is half of your writing process. It's not complete until you've heard it interpreted and reimagined by a voice actor. And they always reimagine it in ways that elevate the writing, in ways you never would have imagined yourself.

Remember, folks. We are where we are today due primarily to a particular quirk of a particular demo.

MAGA America has a knowledgebase that's barely better than Middle Eastern goat herders from the Iron Age. That's their foundation. Literally.

Ask them! Or just look for their cross.

Hey, anybody knows Information-based coders sacked by Trump? If they got financial resources, they could get on-board w/Athena & help me make it big? It's a fulfilling mission building Humanity's Knowledgebase. Life-changing.

Are people just afraid to create original characters? Like, I don't write fanfic, so I'm outside my knowledgebase but, like I don't get the point of completely changing an existing character.

We have our compulsory knowledgebase AI for the company, and I was curious about something. I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

That’s because the Claude AI knowledgebase doesn’t go up to this month.

You have to be in the mode where it searches the web for the latest info.

As an example in the wild: image description then source URL

I support describing images as a courtesy to unsighted people
but also as a compulsive archivist, it's an opportunity to leave specific links to more information in the established knowledgebase, for the record.

And this is honestly extremely human of them. You don't have an internal knowledgebase either. Sometimes (lighthearted side eye at OP) you say false stuff because you heard it somewhere, or because it meshes with your biases. You don't have a direct hotline to Truth, and nor do they.

Techbros controlling your knowledgebase ends in control.

Techbros do not deserve the privileges them and their money-sucking widgets have enjoyed from the freedoms others have paid for with their life, and Nature they are destroying to run their control schemes.

It has been taken over with the intent to destroy our knowledgebase and social cohesion. AI is being presented as an alternative to search engines, yet its been designed as a sycophantically flattering lie generator, using stolen data.

I was in a workshop Thursday where people were asking for some sort of decision tree app to help newcomers find their way through a complex website (a community building a complex knowledgebase).

Community members could build trails for newbies. LOVE THIS.
