When "Liberty, Valor, Tolerance and Plenty," who are the Four Freedoms, hear of what has taken place, they allow themselves to be captured that they may find out where Santa is being held prisoner. The Bad Spirits, with Santa in their power, think that their task is accomplished and that there will be no more Christmases. But the Four Freedoms know better; they know that Christmas is more than just Santa Claus, that it is the birthday of Love. When the Bad Spirits hear of the true meaning of Christmas Day and of God's Love, they are confused and overpowered. They slink away like the cowards they are.
