PixelOver is made for making pixel art animations so I probably wouldn't recommend using it for this. Next time I'm just going to use Blender for it.
Here's what it looks like in the program if you're interested! Lost the Blender project file though :( (more info in alt text!)

Pupil labs is similar and supposedly decent but I haven't tried it. @gunnarblohm.bsky.social it really depends whether you just care about fixation or actual saccade kinematics though; for the latter you need high sampling rates which means higher cost

Look I haven’t worked around people working on SOTA vision and kinematics problems in about a decade but I know how hard they were then and they haven’t gotten any easier.
The loading-the-dishwasher struggle is real. Even—or especially—for the $20,000 1X Neo humanoid home robot.

Flight performance during courtship in male black-chinned hummingbirds, Archilochus alexandri

In physics, we differentiate between kinematics (describing the motion of objects) and dynamics (*explaining* the motion). Political analysis needs to be focusing on dynamics, not kinematics.
Here's where we get into serious "derp" territory.
"Voters perceptions of the two parties have changed since 2012." (True)
But *why* have the perceptions changed? Is it because of policy stances, or because of massive changes in the media system?

Well well well, here's the quick version, still a lot to do to fully integrate it but this works. I had to mess with the inverse kinematics a bunch since I redesigned the arm and all the angles were out of whack. I've wanted this for a long time!

Fun fact, part of the reason we've seen such drastic improvement in inverse kinematics is thanks to a dramatically improved synthetic training data set and AI-based physics rendering engines that help build the models that power these robots.
A year ago these things could just shuffle along slowly and would fall down if you looked at them wrong

It’s *possible* a company that hasn’t figured out their youtube link on their site should go to the company’s youtube page has solved robot kinematics
In the two years that company has existed
In the three months since its series A funding
Another possibility: made a decent-looking short CGI clip

Cerebellar outputs for rapid directional refinement of forelimb movement

I preach the two rules of kinematics:
1. The situation (or that part of the situation) must be a constant acceleration situation.
2. Never mix x- and y-values in the same equation.
I used to be able to use a Ghostbuster analogy (don't cross streams), but most of my stus now have never seen it. 😉

I've recently become a little obsessed with anthropomorphising the movement of bugs via inverse kinematics and procedral animation and it's sort of killing me but I love it. I love how IK limbs twitch a little and move at different times. It's making me reconsider the way I think about the body.

Having fixed kinematics so that it reflects Nature rather than an intuition trained on cars and baseballs, Einstein moves on to electrodynamics.
He works out the transformation of Maxwell’s laws, and derives (among other results) the special relativistic form of the Doppler shift. (29/n)
