Hanimex 35RAS and Kentmere 400 Long shadows down the lane Trees on the lane I used to think this was a random "drinking stone" where horses could have a slurp, but it's actually the base of a roadside Cross. What happened to the cross is unknown, the base is all there is to attest to its existence.

Horse sheltering from the rain under a tree. I stopped by, took a photo and had a chat with her whilst gently rubbing her nose. She seemed to appreciate the attention and soon the rain abated and she got back to some serious grazing.
