Stellar sea lions (Eumetopias jubatus) checking us out on a Bluesky day. This is near a rookery where 200-300 animals haul out. These are mostly females 500-600 lbs but Males can weigh between 450–1,120 kg (990–2,470 lb) 🦑 #stellarsealion #marinemammals #alaska #kachemakbay #ecotours
