Så stört löjligt – en DAC för 1,6 miljoner. Den enda skillnaden mellan denna och vanliga bra DAC:ar för ett par tusen är att de senare i princip inte har nåt hörbart jitter medan denna garanterat inte har nåt hörbart jitter.

I am curious whether this fits with Timeslide, or if we just disregard Timeslide. In that book, Trista mentioned working with Jitter, so that would be three Outliers accounted for, but we'll have to wait and see on that. #XSpoilers

I don't think the person was asking about using SMS as a transmission medium, but about a text-only version of Signal messaging (as opposed to voice or video calls) on the Signal protocol, which might tolerate higher latency and jitter, using smaller cloud providers for transmission.
