Did you know there is a giant rollercoaster in the middle of Tokyo? True! I took a pass, but Hubby and the kids rode the "Thunder Dolphin" multiple times.

It's right by Toyosu Fish Market, on the roof of Senkyaku Banrai, a complex of restaurants in Edo period style buildings. The best part is this free footbath!

I discovered a lot of Tokyo but still so much more to see. Yanaka Ginza,Shinsoji Temple in Sugamo, the view from Odaiba and the swan boats in Ueno park.

If yo hapen to be at Shinjuku station. Head for the new south exit. You can get there from the outside as wel. Go inside the Takashimaya building downstairs to the foodfloor. IT'S AMAZING. Buy something to eat and picknick at the square. Same for Isetan, but head for its roofgarden.

Tokyo has some amazing buildings, but one that never seems to get mentioned is the National Art Centre, one of the most stunning I've been to (anywhere). It has some good exhibitions too - I went to the Yves Saint Laurent one a couple of years ago.
