#iterators
we got a decent a list after a bit of thought lol, idk how many would make good cute subjects tho

XJ-9 (Jenny)
Wall-E, Eve
Gir
Clank?
BMO?
the Iterators from Rain World
the copper golem from minceraft
kerfus omega from VOTV
V1/V2 from ultrakill
any of the droids from star wars

also, protogens 👀

i don't think it's outré to have one trait that covers both branches and leaves but rust is being obtuse about returning empty iterators

That was word-to-word argument for not adding context, type aliases, generics, and iterators. We’ll be good

Faded Echoes is an iterator that is revived by the next great civilization. His can is within a mountain, but his puppet room is exposed to the air by a giant crack within the mountain and can, where he can see other mountains with presumably other iterators within. -See more

unrelated to anything, good lord golang's idea of iterators sucks unfathomably frothy amounts of liquid dogshit

It's been a while but I've just written a new blog note. Still subject to checks of typo and grammar, but that will have to wait a couple of days.
Effects of "column is null" on an indexed column, multi-column inlists and index iterators, and an upgrade.

Case Study
This note isn’t a “real” case study, i.e. it’s not going to show you details of the data, indexes, plans etc. from a production system, but it is modelling one aspect of an …

they were originally based on bears, and some iterators refer to them as "rodent" or "wet mouse"

so what Im saying is yes but also bears and mice get thick tails too

the funniest thing about writing iterator debates is that i am basically just playing all sides of a lore argument. "how tf does the void sea work"? idk and neither do the iterators

Everyone's got problems, but they're holding together somewhat well, all things considered.

Restarting my Rust 🦀 journey:

Starting with the best resource: The Rust Book 📘

Things that really clicked:
- Ownership & Borrowing
- Traits, Structs, Enums & Generics
- Zero-cost abstractions
- Iterators & Closures
- Async Programming
- Concurrency & Smart pointers

liking rain world art in the chance that the algorithm shows me iterators

psc - the ps utility, with an eBPF twist and container context

a fast process scanner that uses eBPF iterators and Google CEL, reduces piping and and scripting when trying to find the right processes. TIL about CEL, an expression language, with bindings for Java, Go, C++.

converted some recursive tree traversal into iterators, it is so nice

i don't think iterators and structural pattern matching are very c-like. 🐸

I've decided I want to draw my iterators again (also slugcats) so here is a group drawing. 1 out of uhhhh idk

We have had a lot of changes in who is doing the engineering (predominantly a woman-led field on the onset) as well as what is expected of them (deep pre-verification of striped decks to new languages which afford type checking, data structures with iterators, testing, functional programming etc.)
