Here is a single 5 min sub from my latest project, NGC 7331 & Friends images on my 8” SCT. I’ve got 11 hrs of L and am waiting for a couple of moonless clear night to finish capturing RGB and Ha. Hopefully this week, the weather will cooperate. 🔭 #Astrophotography

Celestron C8 with a reducer giving ~1400mm focal length and a ZWO 2600. It was on a recently repaired iOptron iEQ-30. The night was basically a shake down of the new(ish) mount.

I just noticed iOptron is now offering a CEM70/10" RC package, good thing I already have the scope. :) I can tell you that the 10" RC is heavier than an Edge 11, never mind an Edge 9.25, the CEM70 will do that *easily*

Ahh, mystery solved. It’s not swapped… My image is just rotated a bit counter-clockwise from this very nice image you posted. I used an iOptron HEM27 equatorial EQ mount that I polar aligned to keep the sun centered. I did not rotate the camera, so the rotation was off a bit.

My improvised pier top adapter is a success! Powered mount, did basic slew test, successfully connected to NINA on my PC. So far so good. Waiting for 2nd counterweight to come in before putting scope on and testing internal USB. : )🔭

The camera I used was an SBIG STF-8300C and the mount was an iOptron iEQ45 (the original version).
The image is comprised of about 30 individual 120 second exposures stacked and processed in PixInsight and finished in Photoshop.

IOptron CEM-25P's various RJ-11 ports are labeled in dark gray on black -- PERFECT readability in the dark. My bad that I connected 12V to the ST-4 port, but theirs that it was (a) possible and (b) so poorly labeled. Smoke from mount: never good. So the next image was...costly.
