I keep seeing articles predicting that AI will give us a 2–3 day workweek. Bill Gates recently suggested this could be possible within 10 years.

But I don’t think that’s where we’re headed.

A simple 1-point leader checklist that is 10X faster than Fortune's:

Question 1 of 1

"Do you think you should be the leader?"

Choose your answer:
A. Yes
B. No

Scoring: Count the # of A and B answers. If the # of A answers is greater than 0, you should definitely NOT be the leader.

This semester, I introduced structured in-class debates as a major part of students’ final assessment.

They prepare to argue **both** sides of hot #IOPsych topics:
– Should we use personality tests for hiring?
– Should companies move to a four-day work week?

Committee: "Do you want to be the academic Dept Chairperson?"

Person 1: Yes!

Person 2: No!

Comm: "Person 2 you are now the new Dept Chair."

Person 2: "No! I refuse! You can't make me!" Runs for the door.

Person 1: "But I have so many ideas!"

Comm: "Exactly."
