Systems who didn't play Pesterquest don't get that the introject spores are different there. For Homestuck, it's June, Dave, and Vriska who are infectious, while for Pesterquest, it's Equius, Eridan, and Jake.

For Liz the main things is that she visualizes herself as already dead. Her windshield is broken from the way Blitzwing died.
While for Zing they're like Blitzwing's cyber form but with more animalistic/bug traits mainly: extra wings, tail, muzzle and claws.

It isn't impossible for untraumatised people to have that kind of identity, but it's way, *way* more common amongst people with dissociative disorders, and DDs are very common in trans people. A dog is a common thing to introject when you're a child who wants to be cared for: people love dogs
