So I uploaded a video on my Youtube channel with this little intro I made and I got a claim of Copyright infringement right away for the music, which I did myself using a public domain vst called VSCO2 Percussion 1. The claim is by HAAWK and after reading some people talk about them I'm scared.

(Currently living through like 6 players in our office all having learned and jumped on this summer (which is very fun to watch) and 100% the thing they are loving is “doing cool things” and often intro product doesn’t focus on that.

This intro STILL blows me away, even today. This is 1995, PS1. Way ahead of it's time and absolutely masterfully done.
I also learned that Masahiro Ohki, the composer of the song, recently passed away last year. Rest in peace 😔

Went to Biltmore Christmas today. It was okay. Maybe it’s my complete disdain for intro rich right now but I really couldn’t get excited. Yes it was pretty but it’s not something I ever need to see again.

With Foundations they really should have released a set of 4 "intro" commander decks designed to be played together. Lower power, low cost, and especially low complexity.
I've been playing for almost 30 years and I have found the complexity level of modern precons very high.

Everyone will tell you the Saturn version, but it's not nearly as clear cut as people say imo. Saturn has nicer water and floor textures, a slightly better framerate, and a few effects like the intro zoom that are terribly done on PS1.
