You are officially becoming a professional, so I don't actually think its unreasonable to assume its of a better quality than what you can get for free. This is a human bias that poisons people against open source software and free indie TTRPGs alike. By putting a price, you are saying its valuable.

This was a great, insightful watch! I got into TTRPGs properly in 2019, so it was especially interesting to learn more about the indie scene leading up to that.

Structure helps players find the solid ground to push off and that's really what it's there to do; which is why a decent chunk of indie ttrpgs can get away with hacking stuff down to the bedrock or focusing only on elements directly related to their theme.
