Two nights before, I was as miserable and cold as I’ve ever been. We started out from a village just inside the German border at 12:30 at night. We walked until 8 the next morning through mud, water snow and ice. The roads and trails we followed were nearly impassable to trucks and even Jeeps.

Road surface on Stuart Graham has not been plowed at all & plough-fall (is that a word?) from Mumford makes it completely impassable. Sidewalks were in better shape there, but not the curb cuts.

Most of the roads have no sidewalks, are difficult to traverse on foot in good weather, and in rain are impassable without walking in the car lanes.
Many high schoolers families can't or won't drive them.

Made even worse is that there's no wildlife corridors even incorporated... Just long walks dividing and slicing habitat up. Isolating, trapping & making patrol/migration routes impassable.
