#hyperaccumulation
Thrilled to join Bluesky! As a plant biologist, I’ll be sharing my work on abiotic stress, hyperaccumulation, phytoremediation, and sustainable agriculture. For my first post, here’s a video I collaborated on, exploring plants, metals, and human health: www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qn3...

e/acc is Landian acceleration with thermodynamic pseudoscience and it worships the capital hyperaccumulation feedback loop.

Now with states competing on AI, e/acc seeks state / capital partnership where the AI/capital complex trades support of authoritarianism for state protection of capital.

The curious case of selenium hyperaccumulation in Coelospermum decipiens from the Cape York Peninsula (Queensland, Australia)
Abstract. The tropical shrub Coelospermum decipiens (Rubiaceae) is an extreme selenium (Se) hyperaccumulator, reported to accumulate up to 1140 µg Se g-1 w

We're back at Allchar (North Macedonia) again this year for fieldwork on hyperaccumulation. This time we focus on metal(loid) accumulation in bryophytes.

He's extremely polarizing. I remember the beginning of austerity, regressive taxation and hyperaccumulation, dodgy foreign policy in our hemisphere, bigotry and ignoring AIDS sufferers. A lot of east and central Europeans love him, think he ended the Cold War.

Cis-regulatory elements co-opting core circadian clock regulator CCA1 underlie enhanced expression of HMA4 for metal hyperaccumulation in Arabidopsis halleri
Short summary: Metal hyperaccumulation and hypertolerance in Arabidopsis halleri rely on elevated HMA4 transcript levels. Compared to A. thaliana HMA4, enhanced AhHMA4 promoter activity requires CCA1 ...

In a paper we just published we found that nickel #hyperaccumulation may have a role in drought tolerance. Now, a paper authored by a team led by the amazing Cristina Gonelli has found that nickel improves the stomatal opening in serpentine populations of the non-hyperaccumulator #Silene_paradoxa.

Yttrium played the role of REE proxy, revealing concentrations from >49 µg g-1 to a dazzling 1424 µg g-1. Further analysis uncovered striking REE values: 6423 µg g-1 in Dicranopteris linearis and 4278 µg g-1 in Blechnopsis orientalis, new records for REE hyperaccumulation in plants. (5/7)

yeah, have to say that i doubt it any longer means much to say financial hyperaccumulation cuts an individual off from all actual community existence if we can at the same time think them somehow null as to personhood
