there's something deeply ironic about the fact that the one week I'm housesitting for my parents it snows worse than it has for the last two years, meaning I have to go out to shovel snow several times a day

That happened to me last weekend! I was housesitting for one dog and then went to spend a few hours with another dog and when I got back, she sniffed every inch of me

January 3 - A Happy Thing - Shaun got me lots of bath bombs for Christmas, so I have taken a few fancy baths over Christmas, and I love my little piggy my mom got at a yard sale that has lived on every bathtub since she surprised me by leaving him behind the shower curtain when she was housesitting

I have this housesitting gig in one of the most white trash parts of town. I was watching their dogs a couple years ago on NYE and I thought I was in fucking Fallujah. Watched a 90 lbs. pitbull wedge himself entirely behind a toilet.

I actually enjoyed the first one but I'd long since checked out on Schneider's career by the time this one came out.
The first one, if you haven't seen it, has him housesitting for a wealthy gigolo and then having to take some of his jobs after an expensive mishap.
It's actually kinda sweet.

been really lethargic while housesitting for my partner’s family but it means i’ve not gotten high once because the thought of cleaning up their elder dog’s piss while inebriated horrifies me

When I was housesitting, the cat started yowling with great pain when doing The Business, so I began giving it 2-3 times the weird oil/paste they gave it (don’t remember the brand name) & the cat began doing much better but then the owners came home and were like “her coat has never been this lush!”

I was supposed to be off today. Instead I’m working. PLUS, the people I’m housesitting for decided to stay in TN another night. 6 of their 8 dogs are pissing me off.
