This is a set of berry spoons with grape shears in their original fitted box. The elaborate handles feature pierce work and bright-cut designs, crafted in vermeil 900 coin silver. We collect antique tableware and hollowware, using them frequently. This set dates to the 1860s and is American-made.

PotShot! Homer Laughlin "Charm House" and "Rhythm" teapots. While these two teapots and their accompanying hollowware are different, CH was sold in sets with Rhythm flatware. Too convoluted to get into with character limit here, so gonna throw down a couple links for folks who might be interested.

Spring polishing time. Figured I'd start small and work myself up to the tea service I never use.

I like the design, but I'm kinda on the fence about the shape of the hollowware... it reminds me of the Tin Man on the Wizard of Oz, LOL.

If cast iron hollowware is properly seasoned, it is perfectly fine to use soap on it. Soap will cut oil, but not oils that have been polymerized in the seasoning process. I use only cast iron skillets and wash them after each use with blue Dawn dish soap and a non-scratch scrubber pad. No damage.

I want to leave behind a better world. I also have several dozen perfectly seasoned pieces of cast iron hollowware. Most of which I use on a regular basis.

Perfectly seasoned cast iron is a good thing.
