The manager's messages read: - I fixed next week's schedule. Rehearsal for the movie starts friday. I'm waking you up at five. Hikaru replies simply: - Okay The manager continues: - Btw, I was looking through old files and found your audition form. An image is attached; a document with a picture of a younger Hikaru in school uniform. Their hair and eyes are brown, and they sport an upbeat expression towards the camera. The manager's texts are placed beside the picture: "That's the gem that caught my eye. Look how young and cute you used to be." Current Hikaru stares down at their phone with an empty expression- their hair is now a soft pink, their eyes are blue, and the spark is gone.
