From Capua, Italy, it's either W. Greek or Etruscan (I vote the latter). The body of the vessel features an image of Hercl (Etruscan Herakles-Hercules) herding cattle. A hanging body may be Cacus (Cacu), son of Hephaistos-Vulcan and Medusa. 🏺 2/

I love that Hephaistos and Themis / Elidibus were voiced! But like... I have to connect a lot of dots to come to the conclusion that Pandaemonium's voice is supposed to be Erichthonios' in some way.

btw je trouve toujours admirable la subtilité derrière le choix du nom de la startup de sélection d'embryon, Herasight, sachant qu'Hera est la déesse grecque qui a tej son gosse Héphaïstos de l'Olympe parce qu'elle le trouvait laid, on apprécie la symbolique
Il y a un côté presque touchant dans le fait d'affirmer qu'il est possible de prédire le QI d'un embryon comme si ce n'était pas de l'astrologie génétique. Mais comme la bourgeoisie américaine d'extrême droite y croit et se voit déjà sélectionner ses embryons, c'est surtout inquiétant.

- i also sometimes borrow things from Greek mythology, like calling our Go rewrite of a service that aggregated years of statistics in real-time Hephaistos (heph for short)
- i've used Duo at work (which uses Anthropic models) and for completion it's fine but generally not a big fan of chat features
