A couple slices of good hardwood smoked bacon work too. I think the really good smokey guanciale my wife was getting from a fancy butcher would work well too
Cured meats are worth the money. Too many of those industrial cured meats taste chemically and mildly rancid.

Always funny to me the rare times one of my vinyl uploads ends up posted to this account. This was the first LP I got in college and just used the eBay vendor’s photos without bothering to crop out the hardwood floor from behind the cover lol.

I am neither, but I am from the north where winter actually exists. You need seasoned (as in wood that has been DRIED) hardwood. Oak would be best option.

It's NY Eve but MORE importantly, it's Kleo's Gotcha Day! 4 years ago today I went to STCAZ to bring home this beautiful, sweet and loving calico girl. (First picture is the first one I ever took of her at the sanctuary). I am so privileged that this former feral chose to love and trust me. 🖤🤎🤍
