Sweet, Hammerspoon can run macOS shortcuts! So awesome. 🥳 In a similar vein to my tinkering with Hue lights... I have a BenQ ScreenBar Halo on my monitor which I'd like to turn off when I logoff or my Mac goes to sleep. The latest version of the Halo has some sensors that can detect when you are around, but I don't have that nor have any plans of buying that, so I wondered what else I can do.

The way this Hammerspoon automation works is that I manually trigger it with `Cmd+Opt+Ctrl-s` and it looks at the front Chrome window, goes through all the tabs not in the "keep list", writes them to a timestamped entry in a JSON file, and then closes all those tabs.

Wanting to give Hammerspoon (MacOS scripted automation tooling) a spin, I figured this would be a good task to take on.

ProToolsのSoundFlow統合いいな〜〜〜Abletonにも統合してくれや と一瞬思ったが、バージョン追うごとにショートカットは十分に追加されてるし、OS側でのショートカットカスタムやBTTでのコンボ化を合わせれば現状でも色々できるし、それでもできないことはかつてM4Lやhammerspoonでがんばってた人がいることを思うと、これはもう自分の怠惰の問題と捉えるまである

I need to play with stage manager, I made a hammerspoon once that would create a "window group" and bring the set front on a hot key. Helpful for when I had a terminal window I wanted to monitor with my editor. Both apps could have multiple windows open but I could see the two I wanted on command.

Hammerspoon basically lets you script your Mac with Lua, starting with 100% custom window management that can do literally *anything*.
It's a bit of upfront work, but I enjoy how my setup is just a single Lua file that I can distribute across my machines to have the same config. It's nice!

this uses hammerspoon to launch a ghostty terminal. There it runs a script that uses hammerspoon's cli to query the open windows and tabs (using the stuff that ghostty exposes for a11y). It then feeds it into fzf, and when fzf returns a selection, uses hs again to switch to that window/tab.
