my previous job had a guideline that literally read something like "Always smile (even if you want to knock a customer's teeth out!)" and that was honest to god a big motivator for me to put my two weeks in.
"Store employees are now required to smile if they are within 10 feet of a shopper.
They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.
If they’re within four feet, the employee should ask how the customer’s day is going or if they need help."

Worse, it’s a state guideline for how localities *should* be writing these documents. YIMBYs passed a law to say cities cannot impose subjective design standards, they must be objective. So now they’re putting it all in writing so we can build a case that they shouldn’t be allowed at all.

stealing my own unfinsihed mesh for this, have to refit it completely unfort but at least i have a guideline. this was originally for the crux av, but i ran in to an issue figuring out how to rig it (someone was kind enough to help but i dont have them on here, thank u btw so much)

The first part is reasonable. The second part seems intellectually dishonest. If we're setting a guideline to determine how to equalize the playing field with respect to physical development then there's no need to further otherize these kids. They're already competing where they should be competing
