This is the Paris Agreement's natural home for talks about phasing out fossil fuel subsidies & other forms of public finance for fossils, and instead scaling up public financial flows to renewable energy.

This year, talks are meant to come to a conclusion -- I'll be following closely.

The future arrived early: Why our energy cost forecasts need to catch up
While solar modules and batteries have become icons of rapid progress, most energy models are still stuck in the past. A new global analysis shows that the cost of renewable energy has fallen far fast...

I caught myself thinking "Damn, all these artists I follow hammer out amazing illustrations at least once a week. I started this 2 weeks ago".

But then I remembered that I work full time, enjoy multiple hobbies and that I'm a family man.

But it would be nice to do _more_.

Yara Haridy on Ordivician vertebrates and the origin of bone remodeling:

Synchrotron scanning tech really shines when used with tiny fossils such as those from jawless fish. This includes bony scales on the body of Astraspis.

Investigation shows bone remodeling predates osteocytes!

Flowstones from the Cradle of Humankind in #SouthAfrica reveal no evidence of intrusion.

New work, led by HERI’s Georgina Luti, counters arguments that the flowstones are uniform & intrusive, adding support for their role in dating fossils.
