One of the many useful things I learned about on the old TTRPG forums was the concept of verisimilitude, as distinct from realism; what is plausible within the rules of the fiction rather than our world's rules.

For a campy franchise like Bond, audiences are already willing to suspend disbelief!

Oh, the nerds who spend all day hanging out on Q&A forums just to get angry at the people asking questions are a special breed. Isn't there a bug somewhere you should be fixing? Leave this part to the people with social skills.

🇳🇬 Nigeria and 🇬🇭 Ghana pushed back. They argued that forums like the Global Forum are not inclusive or effective. Participation is limited. Cooperation and exchange of info must be built to work for all countries, not just the few with power and access.

The NSAID (non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen, naproxen and diclofenac etc) debate seems to have reared its head again recently in many ultra running online groups and forums.

It's not like people have an oblligation to respond to everything. Sometimes we do. Sometimes we even respond to things we ordinarily wouldn't to see how the expression of a response-concept works out. Part of the way online forums work.

Ding, ding! 🎉

My username miwwdu-sitsom is in fact an acronym for "Magic is what we don't understand; science is the study of magic.", which started off as a tagline for The Dragonblood (though it may not have been called that yet), which I used as my signature on the old NaNoWriMo forums. (1/2)

Been studying this and wow it's a lot of useful information. I haven't worked up to taking the leap into grey market yet but this and the other forums and groups I've come across have helped shed some light on the matter. Thanks for access to the other doc btw!

About 20 years ago I blew up the old Dr Who forums by suggesting Sanjeev Bhaskar could play the Dr.
Quite a few didn’t quite get the fact the Dr was a fictional character, an alien no less , and rules don’t apply. There was an insistence the alien had to be a white, British male.
