Success. Nearly 259 Foldscope deployed in hands of unsuspecting candy crazy kids. Halloween is always more colorful with the microscopes - specially in a few weeks they could look at the micro-fauna of the teeth with so much sugar consumption.

Science needs to be part of our day to traditions. For many years - I have continued to give Foldscope @teamfoldscope.bsky.social with the candy on Halloween. Try it out and surprise the kids with the capacity to see and discover real #microMonsters crawling on our planet. 🎃👻

Incredibly proud of Dr Revathy who is inspiring the next generation of scientists around the world. And even though we can't see them through a foldscope, bacteriophages are still our favourite microbes 🤩

🌊 World Water Monitoring Day – Sept 18

Foldscoper Mitali Patil used her Foldscope and polarized light to explore live water samples from a pond in Ratnagiri. Her post shows that when science meets curiosity, even the tiniest organisms can shine bright.

Few views with Foldscope - little, (mostly) paper microscope, which actually is not so toy-ish.

More that 1,000 scientific publications mentioned it and/or it was used for research, leading to those publications.
