Fluxys c-grid, dochter van de Belgische gasnetbeheerder Fluxys, is door de Vlaamse regering aangewezen als netbeheerder voor CO₂-transport. Fluxys heeft grote plannen op dit vlak, ook met omringende landen, maar welke rol Nederland gaat spelen is nog onduidelijk.

De milieubeweging Greenpeace wil met een blokkade op zee verhinderen dat er nog Russisch gas geleverd wordt in de Zeebrugse terminal van Fluxys Belgium. De tanker Arctic Voyager, geladen met Noors gas, kan daardoor donderdag mogelijk de haven niet invaren.
