Why should we even specify field types on flowfields or fields with a complete table relation, it's redundant information.

Working on a racing game, using splines with an interpretation of flowfields for general navigation and track data to drive the ai car rigs. Can't decide if I've made an over complicated mess, or super cool efficient code. Either way it looks pretty. 💥💥🤯 #gamedev #indiedev #impostersyndrome

I agree. They also do not address how to then make search usable in lists where lookup flowfields are used. Will it be enough that underlying table has that attribute for example?

Thanks for that hard work. Just an FYI we completely corrupted our database on v25 by in a minor update of our PTE enabling fulltextsearch on text fields including lookup flowfields. This was not prevented by compiler but damaged database so badly we can’t upgrade PTE or appsource apps. So beware!
