It was Chitubox, but turns out Lychee is in flatpak for ease of use in Bazzite, so I’m using that now.
First print on the new software was an easy success.

freedoom doesn't seem to be working, also do you have any plans to do an official flatpak? i find most linux users prefer those over appimages

I can't say I've ever really used Debian but these days I actively avoid Ubuntu because I don't particularly enjoy having everything be outdated or only available through Flatpak but defective

Sigh. Yet another fucking problem with the upgrade from Kubuntu 25.04 to 25.10. Literally no flatpak autostart on boot stuff is happening, which means the equalizer we rely on to be able to hear the stuff coming out of our computer isn't starting up unless we manually start it every boot.

Try mint, basically Ubuntu without some of Canonical bs. All the "gaming" distro have is Steam installed by default and sometimes Lutris. You can install those from flatpak in one or two minutes.

Ha, I literally *just* installed the Flatpak like two days ago, then got the update and was briefly very confused: what the hell happened..? 🤔😂

However, software sources like Flatpak and Snap will work fine since they operate independently from pacman, so if you were truly insistent on managing your applications with a more App Store like experience instead of the utilitarian Octopi, then those two could potentially fill the gap.

I have used a similar configuration in OBS but not resolve :( all I can give is vibe advice.
I would typically expect if OBS can see and utilize VAAPI that other system software should see it, I don't suppose you're using a flatpak version of resolve and the arch core/extra repo version of OBS?
