The FCC didn’t ban Kimmel. They made a threat against Nexstar and Sinclair trying to hold a merger approval over their head. Those stations then stopped airing the feed. Then Disney paused a bit.

sorry but I know too many companies that the FCC are Coercing them to do adverts. For instance my favorite radio Show in SF, 107.7 The Bone has been forced by ICE to run ads or be pulled off the air. They are a Rock and Metal radio station who doesn't get political at all.
