Portugal's Festival da Canção 2026 semi-final split has been announced. Songs have yet to be released; however, songwriters from each semi-final will be able to qualify for the final. A group of 170 Belgian artists and cultural figures has signed an open letter urging public broadcaster RTBF to withdraw from the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, in protest against Israel’s confirmed participation in the competition.
