Societally, I don't think there's much else to do than slowly create inclusive enviroments so people being different in all the ways they are is not hidden under social rulesets of how you need to be and feel. Normalize it for the next generation. So we need to keep these things visible.

I'm definitely not normal but part of that is that "normal" has been "alien" forever - I feel I have more in common with minorities in shared experiences of exclusion and not fitting in than your average person full of social beliefs that have worked just fine in THEIR enviroments.

This figure (and the Lilith one) are really good. If you do display it you might want to put something under the wing tips to support them. Unfortunately the softer material used does not always hold up (specially in warmer enviroments) and they end up pulling down and sagging.

Yup. It's really quite the rabbit hole. Hugely inequal social relationships and lack of honest feedback - or being forced to mirror oneself based on that feedback - have a lot to do with it. We kind of lose certain kind of social "grounding" when we don't have such relationships to our enviroments.

Well, I councel people, often traumatized by their enviroments and struggling. Part of this has to be speaking out against the bullshit that traumatized them in the first place, it feels inconsistent to do one if I don't also do the other. If that makes sense.

You don't get the point. You and I live in a very liberal bubble where we more or less get to pick our enviroments. That reality is not representative of the population level, if I go door to door with my neighbors, or take a random sample of 50 year old people. Which I've done, a lot.

In fact as someone who has had to deal with a spinal injury leading me to be paralyzed, neurodiverences similar to you and epilepsy throughout my life while still working on my education; i actually can quite relate to the clash between passion and what enviroments actually make accessible

I mean, raycasting is how John Carmack simulated 3D enviroments for Wolfenstein 3D and Doom, back in 1993.
