I feel like adora and glimmer blame themselves the most for entrapta’s turncoating but honestly they’re the only ones whose fault it ISNT. Bow, mermista, and perfuma made the enormous logical leap that entrapta had died and if they hadn’t done that then I’m sure they would have gone back for her

despite what i was saying about entrapta before i do think its very funny that she doesnt give a fuck what happens to the world so long as she gets to do her science. i think that doesnt work well with her eventually being good again (although im probably forgetting stuff) but it does amuse me

another entrapta thought: i wish part of the reason for her switch to the horde was because people were kinda mean to her beforehand, on top of her thinking she was left for dead. like, her coming to a realization that she hadnt been treated great. combine the misunderstanding/catra lying with -

I think it also is an interesting take on the logic/emotion dichotomy, bc catra is presented so emotionally and entrapta so logically, but they both feed on each other, there’s like no resistance within their relationship. It’s a perfect theme to explore in a girl-power show

I think they’re amazing foil for each other I keep typing way too much about it. Catra is so manipulative and emotionally driven and through that she really highlights entrapta’s humanity and vulnerability and entrapta rlly highlights catra’s perceptiveness by giving her a more strategic role

It's not lost on me that characters I see a lot of myself in happen to be labeled as "problematic" representation for being morally dubious or "infantilized."
As if I haven't been labeled those things by an institution that wishes me dead.
I'd rather live as someone's villain than not exist at all.
